UNIFORMS
Uniforms are a required element of H.I.S. Club. The uniform
must be worn to all club meetings and H.I.S. Club sponsored
activities unless otherwise specified by a director.
When clubbers complete the Rank Path, they are allowed
to buy a shirt displaying the H.I.S. Club insignia. The
color of the shirt coincides with the grade level of each
individual club. As they progress, they also earn the
Path Award Bar, that is attached onto the uniform on the
right front area. The Path Pins, when earned, are worn
on the Path Award Bar.
AWARDS
As clubbers complete the Rank, Path, and Step
requirements, they will be awarded the appropriate bar
and pins. H.I.S. Club awards can only be worn on the H.I.S.
Club uniform. NO award will be given to any clubber who
is not in uniform.
The Path Awards are earned as follows (one award per
child):
Level “A” - 1 pin is awarded
at the end of each path where all “A” Steps
have been completed.
Level “B” - Award will
be given at the end of club year when all “A &
B” Steps have been completed.
Level “C” - Award will
be given at the end of club year when all “A, B
& C” Steps have been completed throughout the
book.
“KING'S TOKENS”
King’s Tokens are given to clubbers as a reward
for weekly achievements.
DISTRIBUTION
Distribution of King’s Tokens is as follows:
- Handbook - 1 token for each Step
passed
- Path Review - 5 tokens for each
Review passed
- Uniform, handbook, Bible - 3 tokens
for each night a clubber brings these items to club.
Tokens are also used as a reward in other areas such
as Game Time, showing Christ-like behavior, or bringing
a friend.
REDEEMING TOKENS
Approximately every five weeks a Club Store is held so
the clubbers can spend the tokens they have earned. The
items are priced according to the value of each item.
Example: for each 10 cents spent on an item, it will cost
the clubber one token; i.e. if the item costs 50 cents
it will cost the clubber 5 tokens. Money to purchase these
items comes from weekly dues and fund raisers such as
the bake sales. Each individual club is responsible for
stocking their own Club Store. Examples of things that
can be purchased are toys, candy, books, etc. |
