Wedding Ministry

We provide a premarital instruction program that will prepare all couples who wish to get married with a strong Biblical foundation. You will meet with a pastor, study God’s will for marriage, and have the opportunity to discuss important topics such as communication, conflict resolution, finances, and the roles and responsibilities of spouses. Your time and dedication is needed to complete the required sessions. We believe that the life-long commitment you are about to make is one that merits such effort in your future as a married couple.
Interview: The premarital interview is intended to help the couple understand the requirements set forth by CCSB for wedding ceremonies performed by our pastors, either on-site or off-site. In addition, the interview will assist in clarifying any questions or concerns where you stand in your spiritual walk as a couple and as individuals.
Sessions: Although four sessions are necessary to complete your premarital instruction, we recommend the completion of eight sessions. Both of you will need to meet with the pastor at least twice a month. There is no cost for the sessions; however, you and your future spouse will need individual workbooks, Marriage God’s Way by Wayne Mack, which may be purchased from our bookstore.
